In winter, the valleys of the Karwendel mountains are only open for cross-country skiers, winter hikers and sleigh rides in winter.

These are far from being the only things that you can do during a holiday in the snow covered Achensee region. You can also enjoy great winter fun while skiing and snowboarding on the wide slopes of the Achensee skiing region. Tobogganing (even by night), ice skating and curling (on the ice rink in the centre of Pertisau) are also available. Or how about a go at snow biking? You won't want to miss out on this during your holiday on the Achensee. We are, after all, the first snow biking region in the world! And especially daring winter adventurers will find a challenge while snow kiting (in Achenkirch).
